The first day back at school in Germany is a big tradition. I have done the same tradition for my grandchildren on their first day. During the summer I brought, crayons, pencils, stickers, coloring book - arts and crafts items.http://www.kindercone.com/index.php
The first day of school can be overwhelming and the children are very excited because they know they will be getting a kinder cone.
My DIL made the Kinder Cone for my granddaughter.
