Aspen, CO

It has been 40 years since I have been to Aspen, CO.  My sister and I took a road trip from Vail, CO. - what a beautiful state - Nature at it's best.

Flowers along a fence at a private residence.  The weather was perfect.

I went to a bookstore - I love going to independent book stores when  I am on vacation.  This stain glass was in the restroom.

Monkey see statue in the middle of town.

The town had wonderful stores - could not afford anything in them.

Had to take a photo of this airplane.

The mountains were so pretty and then drove up to Independent Pass.  I don't like driving through passes.  We were up about 14,000 ft.

Had a great time and I need to visit again.
